This CRKT Fire Department knife features a 3 7/8" part serrated tanto blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .14" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 56-58. The blade of this CRKT knife has a non reflective black titanium nitride coat, FD High Risk Environment 1 etch, notched thumb rest, dual thumb studs and Carson Flipper for ambidextrous one hand opening. The drilled textured Fire Engine Red Zytel handle, 5 3/8" closed, has dual 420J2 stainless steel liners, a liner lock and AutoLAWKS knife safety. A side to side and end to end reversible black Teflon plated stainless steel pocket clip is included with this CRKT knife. The large Zytel CRKT Fire Department Knife with tanto blade has an overall length of 9 1/4" when open.
